Anlo Engineering & Mining Supplies was established in 1993 and began to do some repair jobs on underground rail switches, as well as the manufacturing of mining equipment such as cold sets, pinch bars, marine spikes and many more small items and components of rail switches underground. Repair jobs were also done on hoppers and material cars.

Anlo Engineering & Mining Supplies cc has been very successful in the short period of existence.  We are currently dealing with companies such as Amplats, Harmony Gold Mining Company, Goldfields, Sibaney Gold Mining Company, South Deep Joint Venture, Anglo Gold and Lonmin Platinum.  We also deal with a great number of smaller companies.

The management of Anlo Engineering & Mining Supplies cc decided that, due to the fast growth of the company over the last few years, it would be best to split the company in two divisions.  Anlo Engineering & Mining Supplies cc will then mainly focus on manufacturing mining equipment and Anlo Construction CC has been established as one of the leaders in the field of underground track construction.
